I know it has been so long, so I figured an update was way overdue! I have just been doing work and school and trying to make it through! I am almost done with school though! I am currently doing my internship for my masters and I will be able to graduate in December!!! Mark has been finishing up his school also! He will be done in January so thank goodness in less than 6 months we will both be done with our schools! It will be so great to finally get to see him again! LOL! That is about it not very exciting! We will be going in a few weeks to visit family in Iowa and I am so excited about that! Well I will try to update sooner next time!

Well I am finally done with my summer 2 classes! Yeah!!! I have a little break! I have started my 2nd session of teaching summer school but it's not that bad. Only Monday through Thursday of this next week and we are done. If I can just get through 2 weeks of wedding stuff for Lisa's wedding I think I might be able to relax a little.
We ate with the family tonight for a early birthday celebration for me! I got a new camera that I am super excited about! I needed a new one after my other one's shutter button broke and it's not going to be cheap to fix. Let's just say it was way cheaper to just buy a new one. It's sad. Oh well! Have a great night!

So this week has been totally crazy. I have been going back and forth between my house and Olga's taking care of all animals. Went shopping yesterday and got some really cute new clothes to start the new school year in! I am super excited. FYI White House Black Market (my favorite store ever!) has alot of clearance items!!! The one in Firewheel Mall has 4 racks full of shirts, pants, jeans and shorts various sizes and patterns on mega sale!!! I also made an 81 on my midterm for my masters class! Super excited about that, because this class is kicking my butt!!!! Well that's all for now! Everyone have a great humpday!!

Well Im sure everyone is impressed that I am updating this so soon again. Well the week is wild and now I am trying to study for my midterm that is on Monday. Everyone wish me luck! David and Olga are out of town this week on their cruise so I am house/petsitting for them! It has been a blast! I never knew how much they really go through and after this week I will have so much more respect for them (not that I don't already) but even more than before because now I have had an insight into what they do with these pets everyday! So kudos to ya'll!! Well everyone have a great Sunday and keep me in your thoughts tomorrow with my test!

Im sorry I have not written in such a long time. Olga got onto me so I figured I better not upset her so I am updating. Well things have been just crazy since I just last wrote. I finished up teaching my second year of Special Education in Crandall. I finished up my 3rd semester in my Masters classes. this summer I started out by teaching summer school for 3 weeks and taking a 10 day class for my masters. June was crazy! On top of all of that, Mark also started his school so he is working all night then going to school from 7-2. He is so tired when he gets home! Im glad it's only for a year and a half. I don't know how long we will be able to handle it! July opened up a little bit, I am taking another class but it is at night. So at least I get to see Mark when he gets home from class.
My sister got engaged on July 4th and has decided to get married August 23rd of this year! So now I am in the middle of helping her plan the wedding and planning a bachelorette party. It's going to be lots of fun and I will be busy busy busy! Wish me luck. Well that's all for now. I will write later!

Sorry guys that it has been so long since I last wrote! Things have been a little hecktic around my world. So here is a quick update! I have been focused on my Masters school work. I had a huge project due right after Spring break so that is what the beginning of my spring break was. At the start of Spring Break I had to go take my GRE, which is incredibly HARD! So for weeks before that I was studying and writing another research project for another class.
Over easter break I went up to Illinois to visit family for easter. Mark came with me. We went to surprise my sisters. They were very surprised. It was a great weekend and we got lots of needed rest and relaxation! It snowed on us on our way to church Easter Sunday. That's something we don't see in Texas so it was cool!
Last weekend I went back up there for a surprise 76th birthday party for my grandmother. She was so surprised but I am still trying to regain sleep from that weekend!
On a sadder note, mine and Mark's friend Aaron, who has been living with us for about 6 months. His mom has been in the hospital for about a month, with different illnesses. Last Thursday, April 3rd, she entered the gates of heaven for her eternal life with God. This week was the funeral and wow! So many people were there, she truly touched many people's lives! We have all been struggling through this event this week. It will slowly get better. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family!
Hopefully from here on out everything will go smoothly. Only 6 weeks left until summer! Yeah!!! That means the pool will be open and we will have several months of relaxing!

School has been crazy! Since being back I have started teaching all the lessons that general education does so I am swamped with lesson plans and re doing my room. It has been crazy. I have been trying to get all of that finished before I start my 2 online classes on Thursday. That is when my life is going to get really crazy!
On Saturday Olga and I went to an adult painting class here in Forney. We learned how to oil paint. There are 4 more classes, but we finished our first painting all in the same day! If I do say so myself we did a very good job for our first time. It is a painting of a Tuscany Villa on the sea.

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back on here and write. I got put in check about it last night! (thanks Olga!). Well not much has happened since Christmas. School got started back up and now, the administration has me trying to fit 16 subjects for 2 different grade levels into my schedule a DAY! On top of that I have to write not only 1 lesson plan but 2! Im not upset or anything.... AHHH! Other than that... everything is good. We are having a Chili cookoff tomorrow at school, Mark is making a batch of chili for me to take... I hope his wins....lol. We also have a workday on Monday so I can finally get some things done that I have needed to to since we got back from Christmas. Like change the classroom around (I get bored with it very easy, it has been the same way since last year.) Oh well, that is it for now. Everyone have a great FRIDAY! YEAH!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Mark and I did. Last night we went to my parents and had a wonderful dinner then opened lots of presents. This morning we got up and went to Mark's parents for a yummy breakfast then opened more presents. I think Mark and I are set for a while, expecially Mark, he got a standup cooler, a smoker and a firepit! He is ready for a party! I got lots of clothes and jewelry which is always good! Well everyone have a great rest of Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

My Thanksgiving Break

My Thanksgiving break actually has been pretty restful! Thursday we had all the family over for the first Thanksgiving at our house! Yeah! It went very smoothly, and it was wonderful not having to cook all the food!
Friday Mark and I went shopping for some christmas stuff at Garden Ridge, then he came home and slept while I started getting things out and putting out Christmas decor. I love Christmas season so i go crazy with decorations and the whole bit!
Saturday we went to Greenville to eat with my aunt then we went to a tree farm over near there and got our Christmas tree! It is so pretty. That evening I started decorating it and Olga came over to help and keep me company while I finished. Then we hit the mall and garden ridge. We had to go to Zales to get rings cleaned. I finished putting up Christmas things when I got home. (Thanks Olga for being a bum with me.)
Today I am pretty much not doing anything. Maybe Mark will put up the lights outside if it is not raining. Well that's it for today. Back to work tomorrow so I need to get plenty of rest today!

It has been so long since I have updated! Things have been absolutly crazy at school, work and home. We had such a fun Halloween with David and Olga! I will post pictures later. Olga and I dressed up as bees. My team at school had made these costumes out of trash bags for a halloween carnival we had at school then I brought one home for Olga. It was so much fun!!!!! My school is going good, almost done, just a few more weeks then one more class down and tons more to go! Oh well, I will graduate eventually! Work has been busy like always. Last week was the craziest week I have had in a very long time, I was gone at a training on Monday and Tuesday, on a field trip Wednesday, we did a Farm Day at school with Kindergarten on Thursday, and I had another training on Friday. So last week was basically a waste! A week and a half until Thanksgiving break! Mine and Mark's friend Aaron moved into our house this week, because he is inbetween living locations so he is staying with us until he finds another place. So I am now living with 2 boys and 3 dogs! I don't know how I am not going out of my mind yet! Pray for me! Friday I am going to the Russian ballet with my parents, David and Olga then to a wedding on Saturday. Another busy weekend! Maybe I can get a little rest on Sunday and start cleaning the house for Thanksgiving. Yes we are having Thanksgiving at our house this year. I'm excited and crazy about all the cleaning all at once! Well I think that about catches everyone up on what's been going on in my life. Everyone have a great week!!!

Sorry I have not written in so long! Things have been absolutly crazy!!! I have gotten through the first 6 weeks of school, and I am halfway through my masters class! Yeah!!! I just took a field trip to Dallas World Aquarium yesterday. I took 3 special ed. classes! We had so much fun but it was crazy! Just finished watching Pushing Daisies with Olga and David! Yeah for our Wednesday "dates"! Well that's about all for now in a nutshell! Promise to write again sooner!

First Week!

So my first week at school with all the kids was absolutly crazy! I knew it would be but not this crazy! I hope next week goes a little easier. At least I get Monday off! Mark, Lisa (my sister) and one of her friends are all going to Turner Falls for the day! I can't wait, it is going to be so much fun! Wish me luck next week!

FUN weekend!

So I was sitting around on Friday being bored waiting for Mark to get home and I starting thinking, which can be scary sometimes! I decided I wanting to go do something with Mark since this is his last weekend to go do something and get away for the weekend since he will be starting his night shift on Wednesday. Mark got home about noon and we decided at the last minute to take a camping trip. I mean tent camping. I have been before (when I was like 7) so it was an adventure for me! We gathered everything up that afternoon, left the dogs with someone and went up to Oklahoma to Turner Falls Park! I had so much fun! We swam in the lake, roasted marshmellows and made hotdogs on the fire. I am sore from sleeping on the ground but had the time of my life! I think everyone should experience real tent camping at least once in their life. We had so much fun we are going back, just for a day trip, on Labor Day since I am off work. Anyone who want to come with just let me know! We'll go swim and picnic and come back the same day. Everyone have a restful rest of the weekend!

Long Week

Sorry it's been a few days since I last wrote. To catch everyone up... Saturday night was fun... we had a bar be que over here for my birthday and for a friend who is about to go to Iraq. It was so much fun! Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate! Sunday Mark and I went to my parents and went to eat! I got a new video camera from them for my birthday! I was super excited!!
Monday, Mark started his new job at Southwest Airlines, he is excited and loves it! I have been working all week at summer school. My kiddos are crazy right now, I think they are ready for another week off before starting school! We have a huge ice cream social tomorrow afternoon for all our kids, their parents and the staff! It's going to be lots of fun!
I have been trying to make a website for school, it is still in the making but it is coming along. I am very frustrated with it but excited that I at least have it up and running! Everyone have a great night!

Finally it is Friday! I have had a horribly busy week, with starting to teach summer school and still working on little details to get my room ready for the start of school. Things were a little crazy! We are having our annual Elementary School Retreat today in Crandall. I think it is going to be fun! I got roped into helping decorate but we had a fun time doing it yesterday and I have to get up there early again this morning to help finish!
Saturday at our house we are having a barbeque It's going to be super fun! Grilling out and playing games and just hanging out with people!

I finally got all the china put away and everything cleaned. I can't believe I am back to school tomorrow already! Where has my summer gone? Oh ya that's right I didn't have one! Oh well. I can't wait to see all my lil kiddos tomorrow! I've missed em! Well off to finish lesson plans and get stuff ready for tomorrow! Wish me luck on my first day back!

Long Day

Today was a very long day, first thing this morning running errands, then I came home and started making presents for my team, then we went and picked up our new dining set from Olga's sister! It is beautiful and now our house is complete. I am so excited. All the china fit perfectly and there is room to spare. I will be unpacking the other china tomorrow! Tomorrow will be another long day! Night!

I am very proud of myself, I made a quilt/blanket today. It was a small one for my classroom but I did it all on my own and I must say, it looks very good.
We get to go pickup our dining set tomorrow! I am very excited. This is going to be a busy weekend! I have to take out all of my china from my old china cabinet and then move it to the new one tomorrow and I am also making a surprise for everyone on my team at school! Like always busy busy busy!

I went up to the school again.. but I actually got more done today than yesterday. Got bulletin boards done and got the rest of the room organized. Summer School starts on Monday so back to the busy world of teaching in 3 days.
On another note... thanks to our wonderful friend Olga Mark and I are getting a beautiful dining set! Thanks girl!!! I'm so excited! Well about to eat and go to bed!

So I went up to my classroom to work today before summer school starts. I think it was cleaner when i started this morning at 10 than when I left at 5! Remind me next time that I want to go through all of my cabinets and organize that it is not a good idea!!!
